There are countless hiking opportunities and ways to be active for all ages in and around Merano. Hop on the Tirolo or Hirzer cable cars (5 min drive) to reach the hiking and cycling paradise that is the Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park. Alternatively, head from the Castanea on foot or by bike into a world of adventure!
There’s something for everyone, from easy walking paths in the valley, through leisurely hikes to traditional huts serving food and drinks, all the way to demanding mountain excursions, climbing walls, and summit ascents.
