South Tyrol is known for its 300 days of sunshine a year – however, that doesn’t mean it never rains here. And that’s a good thing, because everyone – nature included – needs a bit of rain now and then. The sunshine is beautiful, the rain is refreshing, and the wind gives us wings to feel free. After all, there’s no such thing as “bad” weather. However, being prepared whatever the weather is aways a wise move. You can find the weather forecast below.
Sunny weather. Low clouds in the morning will quickly dissipate and the afternoon cumulus clouds will remain harmless.
A high pressure field and northerly currents will ensure stable weather with autumn-like weather.
A north-westerly high-altitude current will temporarily steer more humid air towards the Alps.
From the north-west, partly dense cloud fields will move across South Tyrol, with the sun only appearing occasionally. Isolated rain showers are possible in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, the clouds will clear with a northerly foehn wind and it will often be sunny. The clouds remain more persistent on the main Alpine ridge. Thursday continues with plenty of sunshine and the sky is often cloudless. Friday will also be very sunny and mostly clear. On Saturday, high clouds will appear and become denser as the day progresses.
